In its more than 40-year history, the Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to submit works of art in six arts areas:
  • Dance choreography
  • Film production
  • Literature
  • Musical composition
  • Photography
  • Visual arts
Student Participation
Student winners from local schools advance to compete at the district/regional and state levels, with the best-of-the-best entries going to National PTA to be considered for a National Reflections award. Each year, PTA gives the following awards at the national level:
  • Outstanding Interpretation Awards
  • Awards of Excellence
  • Awards of Merit
  • Honorable Mention
